Annnnnnd I'm back on track and up-to-date! I just spent an hour or so completing another two single page weeks using the Jade Core Kit and am very happy to be all caught up again. To keep things simple I didn't add any extra physical embellishments but I did digitally "cut up" some journalling cards to add directly to my photos.
Here is Week 41.....
And here is Week 42.....
As always, thanks for stopping by!

Layout Shares | Simple Stories "Good Day Sunshine"
I recently taught a class at Tomorrow's Memories using the "Good Day Sunshine" Collection from Simple Stories and thought I would share them here. This was one of my favourite releases this year and I have hoarded some in my stash for crapping photos this summer. My 3x3 class is all about creating three simple layouts using only three sheets of cardstock and three sheets of double-sided patterned paper.
The aim of my 3x3 Class is to build three simple but good-looking layouts simultaneously (and quickly) and to make the most of limited supplies.

Project Life Weeks 39 & 40
Oh my gosh I don't think I have ever been so far behind with Project Life. In between school holidays, house guests and a bout of tonsilitis (again) for me, and DT commitments, PL just hasn't been happening. But I refuse to get wound up about it and will slowly catch up over the next couple of weeks.
I have done single-page layouts for each of Weeks 39 and 40 using the Honey Core Kit. For the sake of completing my pages quickly, I didn't add any physical embellishments. Everything was done in Photoshop, printed and slipped into pockets. It took me about 90 minutes to select photos, edit them, create my cards, print and slip into the pockets for the two pages.
Here is Week 39.....
And here is Week 40.....
Hoping to have Week 41 for you soon!

You can never have enough Birthday Cards on hand, so I took the Flower Patch Set from Stampin' Up and created a background for my panel. I used a striped stencil and some ink to make a tone-on-tone background for my card base. The sentiment was white heat embossed and a button with twine finished it all off.
Be sure to pop over to Feeling Sketchy for more inspiration from the DT and for all the challenge details.

I decided to make a Birthday Card for a little boy. I grabbed some papers from DCWV and using my Silhouette Cameo, I cut some balloons and a number 8 from the patterned papers. I then coated some twine with Matte Medium and wrapped them around a pencil to dry to create some curl. My sentiment from Avery Elle was stamped with blue ink and I assembled it all on a Neenah Solar White 100lb card base.
