Project Life Week 16

Goodness me, two blog posts in one day!  This time I'm sharing PL Week 16 and once again, I've done a single-page week.  Even though it's school holidays and we've been out and about, there are only so many playground snaps you can include in a week ;-)

I've used the Sunshine Edition this week and a free Easter printable I got from here.  It's ended up being a very blue and pink page, but it all seems to work with my photos ok.

Here's Week 16....

I hope you've all had a happy and safe Easter break.

Life Paper Scrapbook | April Mood Board

It's time for our next Mood Board Challenge at Life.Paper.Scrapbook and our challenge sponsor is Sassy Scrappers.

Sassy Scrappers is an Australian based online scrapbook boutique offering a wide range of products and stocking major brands such as Prima, Heidi Swapp, American Crafts and Project Life. Their aim is to inspire you to create and preserve your memories affordably. Offering flat rate postage throughout Australia, Sassy Scrappers is your one stop shop for great scrapping supplies. The design team provide lots of inspiration on the blog: http://sassyscrappers1.blogspot.com.au/ or follow them on Facebook for more inspiration and specials:https://www.facebook.com/sassyscrapper1.

The prize is a AU$25 gift voucher if the winner is from Australia or a goodie bag to the value of AU$25 for an international winner.

As soon as I saw the image in the top left corner of the board I knew which paper collection I was going to use.

I pulled papers and embellishments from the Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic Collection and a photo of my son on the day our For Sale sign went up at our house.  Selling our family home became very real all of a sudden but I reminded myself of why we were selling and got a wee bit excited....quite the rollercoaster of emotions!

Be sure to pop on over to the LPS Blog for more inspiration and all the challenge details.

Project Life Weeks 14 & 15

I've been a naughty Project-Lifer!  Well, there are  really no rules with PL, but anyone who reads this blog will know I am usually up to date and post my weeks every Monday.  It annoys me when I get behind but two bouts of tonsillitis in three weeks has meant lots of stuff was put on hold, including PL.

Anyhoo, I am now pleased to say I am back on track, albeit with single page weeks again, and for Weeks 14 and 15 I have used the Slate Edition in physical kit form- my lovely SIL gave me kit for Christmas.  I have added journalling on my photos with Photoshop and on my cards by simply printing strips of text and gluing them on.  I added cut files from Chic Tags to my filler cards and called these weeks done!

Here is Week 14.....

And here's Week 15.....

Thanks for stopping by!

Feeling Sketchy | Sketch # 87

It's challenge time again at Feeling Sketchy and this challenge is sponsored by Molossi who very generously offer a $30 chipboard and bling prize pack for the monthly winner.

We are also proud to welcome The Trinket Track as a sponsor for our April challenges and you can win $15 to spend in their store.

Here's a little word from Monica from The Trinket Track.....

My name is Monica and I have been an avid papercrafter for 9 years.
Beginning with scrapbooking, I have been extremely fortunate
to be part of many design teams and creative teams in the industry, as well
as having many publications in Australian Scrapbooking Memories magazine,
Scrapbook Creations and Creating Keepsakes.
I became interested in card making after buying my first Magnolia stamp
just over 2 years ago - from that day on I was hooked!!
In 2011, I began to make and sell my own handmade goods but my main
objective has always been to open up my own store
so in September 2011 The Trinket Track was born!
I have many plans for my little store.
The main one being of course, to expand the amount and variety
of products and include both sourced materials as well as
handmade stock.
I source popular on "trend" items as well as old favourites and
sometimes, something a little different.
We buy directly from the supplier which means we source our product
in large bulk quantities keeping the cost down!
We also offer no bulk shipping for national and international
customers. This allows us to offer you a low price on postage costs.

We are based in Brisbane, QLD and always welcome
customers who wish to pick up their parcels!

2014 will offer great changes to the store!
Happy crafting!

Ok so here's Sketch #87.....

And here's my take using products from Amy Tangerine's Sketchbook Collection.

I hope you'll try this sketch and be sure to link up your creation at Feeling Sketchy for a chance to win a terrific prize.
