Project Life Week 15

I've done a bit of a Project Life catch-up this week and am now up-to-date!  I have Week 15 to share today and will post Week 16 very soon.

Week 15 is another single-page week and faces Week 14 in my album, so I have used the Honey Edition again.  Nice and simple, all done in Photoshop, printed and slipped into pockets.

Week 15.....

I will be back soon with Week 16 :-)

Scrappy Canary | March "Playful" Kit Layout Share

I'm back with another layout share using the Scrappy Canary March "Playful" Scrapbook Kit.  I created an 8.5" x 11" page using mostly the Pinkfresh Studio products in the kit.  This is our dog Ebony and she doesn't feature in my scrapbook layouts anywhere near as much as she should!

I fussy-cut some of the elements from the patterned paper to create my own embellishments- I love to do that and it makes really good use of paper scraps.

I added the darling wooden dots to my fussy-cut flowers.

I layered my photo on top some of the tissue paper that comes in the pack of overlays and placed one of the gold overlays on top of my photo.

This page was so much fun to create- I am loving using products that I never would have picked out myself :-)

Scrappy Canary | March "Playful" Kit Layout Share

I'm back with another layout share from my Scrappy Canary March "Playful" Scrapbooking Kit.  I used mostly the Amy Tangerine products included in the kit to create this 8.5"x11" layout featuring four photos of my boys.

I pinched a manila tag and some twine from my stash and as usual, machine stitching, sequins and ink splats were the finishing touches.

See you again soon!

Scrappy Canary | March "Playful" Kit Layout Shares

Today I have two layouts to share using the Scrappy Canary March "Playful" Scrapbook Kit.   This time I have pulled products from the kit to create layouts with a limited colour palette.

For my first layout "I Love Right Now", I have used a black, white and mint scheme, cutting up one of the papers to create my bold banner and one of the overlays to create a transparency bird embellishment.  I added some sequins from my stash.

For my next layout I got messy with my Gelatos (which are now available from the Scrappy Canary Store- YAY!), to create a background on watercolour paper.

I then punched out some of the circles from one of the papers in the kit to form a grid and placed my "Love" title on top.  This title was hand-cut from another of the papers in the kit and the "remember" was cut from another.

I added one of the overlays to my photo and then layered heart sequins from my stash on top.

I am having a ball with this kit and will be back soon with more to share :-)

Project Life Week 14

The great thing about rain during the school holidays is having an excuse to stay indoors and catch up on Project Life and other projects!  This week I have used the Honey Edition for a single page documenting what was a pretty quiet week.  We had a constant stream of kids in and out of the house but we really only had one outing worthy of photos.  This page was super-quick to put together- I think it was about 20min once I had all my bits and pieces open in Photoshop.

Here is Week 14.....

The weather has fined up these last couple of days and I have been tackling the washing- sheets and towels- and the weeds that always pop up in the garden after it rains!

"First Day" Scrappy Canary March Scrapbook Kit

I have been busy with my March "Playful" Kit and I recently shared today's page on the Scrappy Canary Blog.

The kit is full of yummy goodies but I especially love the bold bright colours and all the gold foil elements.

I have again used my favourite 8.5"x11" format but this time I have orientated my layout horizontally.

I was immediately drawn to the gorgeous papers from Pinkfresh Studio and the co-ordinating die-cut pack with it's lovely gold foil accents.  I chose my background paper but didn't want to cover up the lovely diamond-shaped "raindrops" so before adhering my photos I cut them out of the background so I could add them back on top of my photos as embellishments.

I typed my journalling and cut it into strips to add to my vertically placed embellishments.

Here is a close-up of those diamond shapes I cut out of my background paper.

The letter stickers I used to create my "First Day" title were from my stash but I could have easily written with a pen instead.

I can't wait to show you more of what I've created with this kit- the colours are so vibrant and fun!

Project Life Weeks 12 and 13

Today I have two weeks to share using the Coral Edition of Project Life.  We were pretty busy during these two weeks but I was low on photos so in Week 12 I included a picture of the book I was reading and a graphic I found to document Australia's Cricket World Cup win.

Here is Week 12.....

And here is Week 13.....

Another two pages completed digitally and then printed, cut up and slipped into pockets- no extra embellishments were added, but I did pop in an insert with my boys' swimming certificates.

It's been a very wet start to our school holidays, so we've been indoors a lot and I have taken the opportunity to reorganise my clear stamps and thin metal dies....it's taken a lot longer than I expected but I love the results!

Project Life Week 11

I'm back with another Project Life Week and this time I have used the Digital version of the Clementine Edition.  It is a two-page layout this week as we had a pretty action-packed week on top of the usual routine stuff.

Here is the LHS.....

Here is the RHS.....

And here is the entire week.....

The Clementine Edition come with plenty of digital extras so no physical embellishing was needed.

I hope you are having a Happy and Safe Easter break.

Feeling Sketchy | Sketch #118

It's time for a new sketch at Feeling Sketchy and here is Sketch #118.....

Our sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Stamps and I used one of their images for my card.  I combined it with papers and an embellishment from Simple Stories, a stamped and white heat embossed sentiment from Avery Elle and wooden dots from My Mind's Eye.

My little boy was coloured with Copic Markers and I added some Wink of Stella to little areas for some subtle shimmer.

Be sure to pop over to Feeling Sketchy for all the DT projects for this sketch and for all the challenge details.
