Project Life Week 20

This week I used the Coral Edition and a two-page spread.  I could have easily condensed the week to a single page but I have missed including all the extra random things like silly quotes from my boys, what tv shows I'm enjoying and photos that wouldn't have made it to a single page layout.  I added a little Studio Calico wood veneer speech bubble to one of the filler cards and called it done!

Here's the LHS (apologies for the glare!).....

Here is the RHS....

And here is the entire week.....

Thanks for looking :-)

Life.Paper.Scrapbook | May Mood Board

Our Life.Paper.Scrapbook Mood Board is just devine!

Our sponsor this month is Polly! Scrap Kits and they will be providing $30 worth of goodies to our winner.

Polly! Scrap Kits was founded in mid 2011 by Kayla. In 2013 it was bought by Ruth Bonser, and is now based in Sydney Australia.
There is a monthly kit released on the 15th of each month. Polly! kits often include exclusive Polly! products like stamps, letterpress or wood veneers, designed by us.
Polly! has it's own store at www.pollyscrap.com.au and you can find the Facebook pageInstagramPinterest page &Twitter.

As soon as I saw the mood board I knew that I wanted to use papers from Crate Paper's Boys Rule Collection with this photo of my littlest boy.

Be sure to pop over to the LPS Blog for all the DT projects and for all the challenge details!

Project Life Week 19

I'm back with another single-page week using the Clementine Edition to match Week 18 on the opposite page.  Nothing much to report this week except we had some much-needed rain and Master 3 took full advantage of the resulting puddles to have some very wet and dirty play!

Here's Week 19.....

Project Life Week 18

Now that's more like me- posting my PL week on Sunday afternoon LOL!  This week was light on photos so I've opted again for a single page week using the Clementine Edition.

I haven't added any embellies this week- just keeping it super-simple :-)

Here's Week 18.....

Project Life Week 17

So I'm a bit late AGAIN with my PL post but what can I say except that life got in the way a bit this week.  It was back-to-school week and settling back into our school routine was more challenging than I thought.  Today I had some child-free time so I got to work with the Sunshine Edition and came up with a single page layout to co-ordinate with Week 16 on the facing page.

Here's Week 17.....

I added a feather die-cut that was leftover from another project and called it done!  See you soon :-)

Feeling Sketchy | Sketch #89

Sketch #89 is up at Feeling Sketchy and as always this challenge is sponsored by Molossi who very generously offer a $30 chipboard and bling prize pack for the monthly winner.

We are also proud to welcome The Trinket Track as a sponsor for this challenge and you can win $15 to spend in their store.

Sketch #89 is a layout sketch......

I will admit I struggled with this sketch- it's nowhere near my usual scrapbooking style.  But I had an "a-ha" moment and decided to use giant lips in place of the circles in the sketch!  I cut them with my Silhouette using a file from the Silhouette store and with papers from Amy Tangerine's Yes Please collection, it all came together quite nicely.

That's my youngest son in the photos- everyone always comments on his fat juicy lips :-)

Be sure to head over to the Feeling Sketchy blog for more inspiration from the DT and for all the challenge details.

Feeling Sketchy | Sketch #88

It's challenge time again at Feeling Sketchy and this challenge is sponsored by Molossi who very generously offer a $30 chipboard and bling prize pack for the monthly winner.

We also welcome back Bugaboo Stamps who have kindly donated all the images that the DT have used for this challenge and will also award the winner their choice of seven digital stamps as their prize.

Here's the sketch we're playing with.....

I chose this digital stamp to use on my card and paired it with a sentiment and die set from Simon Says Stamp. The cardstock, patterned papers, sentiment ink and label dies are from Stampin' Up.  My cowboy was printed with my laser printer and coloured with Faber-Castell Big Brush Pens

The rest of the sentiment is hiding inside the card ;-)
