Tomorrow's Memories | Project Pack Layout

I challenged myself to make a "boy" page using the wonderfully pretty papers from Maggie Homes "Flea Market" by Crate Paper.  We grabbed two sheets of patterned paper, a sheet of cut-apart paper, a sheet of white cardstock, a bottle top, some chipboard arrows, some leaves and a peg to make this TM Project Pack.

My little boy loves his "Tail Bear".  He has about a dozen of these cheap Ikea bears (we were prepared for loss/damage), but only the original one- the one I bought before he was born- has a tail.  So naturally, as far as he is concerned, this is the only bear that matters....well, "Yes Bear" (the naming of "Yes Bear" is a story for another day) will do in a pinch.

"Yes Bear" was MIA and although I knew he had to be in the house somewhere, it was taking much longer than usual to find him, but I eventually did.  And the reunion between boy and bear was priceless.

These little snippets of life are the reason I scrapbook. Simple as that.

Layout Share | Crate Paper

Just popping in to share a layout that I made just for fun- not for a DT, not for a challenge- just purely for the fun of it!  I love this photo of my little boy- he is a bit crazy and I love to capture that in photos whenever I can.

I used papers from "Random" by Crate Paper, and a mask, Mister Huey's, and wood veneer from Studio Calico. I used this really fun stamp set from Mama Elephant.   I cut a few shapes with my Silhouette Cameo and finished it off with some weird little flat-backed clear balls that I found in my stash.

Elf on the Shelf Mini Album

Our Elf on the Shelf joined us towards the end of November and I just knew I wanted to make a mini album to record his time with us.  I don't do many mini albums but when I was given a Heidi Swapp Believe Album when I attended her workshop, I knew straight away that I would use the album to document the adventures of Elvis, our Elf.

I used products from the Believe Collection (from the workshop kit), some leftovers from my December Daily Kit, some flair from StudioFourteen40 and some bits and pieces from my stash.

This is where it gets VERY photo-heavy, so consider yourselves warned!

I really enjoyed the process of making this little book- who knows, there might be more mini albums this year ;-)
