Life Paper Scrapbook | June Sketch

We have a new sketch challenge at Life.Paper.Scrapbook......

I set to work with papers and embellishments from Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic and a photo of the removalists' truck on the day we moved out of our family home of twelve years.  Sadly, it was one of very few photos taken that day- I guess we had our minds on other things!  I loved this sketch so I followed it pretty closely.

Be sure to stop by the LPS Blog for all the challenge details and to see all the gorgeous DT layouts.

Here's the layout sketch we're playing with.....

I started by making a grungy background using spray inks and White Gesso.  I stamped some "splats" with a stamp from Kaisercraft and then built my page using leftover scraps I had from Carta Bella's "Rough & Tumble" Collection.  Some machine stitching finished the page.

The photo is of my husband competing in last year's Targa West event in the race car he fondly calls "Betty White".  His other car is called "Black Betty" ;-)

Feeling Sketchy | Inspiration Post

I'm over at the Feeling Sketchy Blog today with an Inspiration Post sharing a stamping process video and I hope you'll stop by and take a look :-)

Project Life Week 20

This week I used the Coral Edition and a two-page spread.  I could have easily condensed the week to a single page but I have missed including all the extra random things like silly quotes from my boys, what tv shows I'm enjoying and photos that wouldn't have made it to a single page layout.  I added a little Studio Calico wood veneer speech bubble to one of the filler cards and called it done!

Here's the LHS (apologies for the glare!).....

Here is the RHS....

And here is the entire week.....

Thanks for looking :-)

Life.Paper.Scrapbook | May Mood Board

Our Life.Paper.Scrapbook Mood Board is just devine!

Our sponsor this month is Polly! Scrap Kits and they will be providing $30 worth of goodies to our winner.

Polly! Scrap Kits was founded in mid 2011 by Kayla. In 2013 it was bought by Ruth Bonser, and is now based in Sydney Australia.

There is a monthly kit released on the 15th of each month. Polly! kits often include exclusive Polly! products like stamps, letterpress or wood veneers, designed by us.

Polly! has it's own store at www.pollyscrap.com.au and you can find the Facebook page, Instagram, Pinterest page &Twitter.

As soon as I saw the mood board I knew that I wanted to use papers from Crate Paper's Boys Rule Collection with this photo of my littlest boy.

Be sure to pop over to the LPS Blog for all the DT projects and for all the challenge details!
