Tomorrow's Memories Layout Share Part 2

Happy Saturday everyone!  I'm back with another share from my DT Pack from Tomorrow's Memories and once again I worked with the "Blast Off!" Collection from Kaisercraft.

Like the layout from yesterday's post, I used a grid to set up my layout and kept it pretty simple.  Some  misting with a mask from Studio Calico and some random ink splotches added some subtle texture to the plain cardstock background.

I'll be back again soon with yet another layout from this collection :-)

Tomorrow's Memories Layout Share

My DT pack from Tomorrow's Memories was chock-full of great product from Kaisercraft's "Blast Off!" Collection.  I didn't really have any photos to match the outer space theme of the line, but it was still very easy to use for a stock-standard boy page.  I am really loving navy blue right now and teamed with bold shades of  lime green, red and orange, it's a real winner.  There are lots of stars among these papers too, and they always work well for boy-themed pages.

Here is the first layout I created with my pack.....

It's really hard to see in the first photo, but in the last photo you can see where I added some subtle texture and shine to the white cardstock background.  I combined Mister Huey's Shine Spray Ink with this mask from Donna Downey for Prima Marketing.  I love this grungy hexagon mask and it will get lots of use- it's available from Tomorrow's Memories as well.  The flocked transparency is from this collection by Fancy Pants Designs.

I will back soon to share some more projects made with this line from Kaisercraft.

Project Life Week Twenty-Three

Another week has flown by in the blink of an eye and although our week wasn't terribly exciting, we were busy with "stuff".  This week I have used the Seafoam Digital Edition, a little Silhouette cut file and a flair from here.  I apologise for the photos- it was a race against the fading light!

Here's the LHS.....

Here's the RHS.....

And here are the two pages side by side.....

I haven't used Seafoam for a while, but it's still definitely one of my favourite PL Editions.

Tomorrow's Memories Project Pack Mini-Album

Hi everyone!  I'm back today with another Project Pack for Tomorrow's Memories and this time I had a mini-album to create.  The pack contained everything I needed to make a sweet keepsake from my son's visit to the Aviation Heritage Museum of Western Australia.  It had chipboard book covers, cardstock, patterned papers, some embellishments, lots of ribbon and hinged rings to hold the book together.

I love how quickly and easily the album came together.  Get down to Tomorrow's Memories and grab a Project Pack and make your own little album :-)

Tomorrow's Memories Project Pack Layout

Happy Saturday everyone!  I feel a bit lost today- we had a scheduled power interruption today and it's thrown me all out of whack :-/  The big boy had Auskick this morning and then I took the boys to The Margaret River Chocolate Company for lunch and all my usual Saturday tasks have been neglected.  The power is back on now and the to-do list is calling but not before I update the ol' bloggedy-blog.

Today I want to share a layout I did for Tomorrow's Memories.  Everything you need to create this layout (except the title) is available from the store in a Project Pack.  Nice and simple, just the way I like it.  The supplies in the pack are a long way away from what I would normally use but I was up for the challenge of stepping out of my comfort zone and this was the result.....

There were lots of pretty papers and things in the pack- pretty is not my usual thing- but I had fun with trying to incorporate all of the elements on my boy page.  The title was cut from cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo but of course you could use any alphas to make your title.

Be sure to pop in to Tomorrow's Memories and grab a Project Pack!

LPS Sketch Challenge #5

It's sketch challenge time again at Life Paper Scrapbook and the challenge winner will receive a A$35 gift voucher from Mei Li Paperie!

Here's the sketch we are working with....

I had a lot of fun with this sketch and once again I scrapped photos from our holiday in Phuket last year.

All the supplies were from Studio Calico's Sundrifter collection.  I hope you will play along with all of us at LPS for the chance to win a great prize from Mei Li Paperie :-)

Project Life Week Twenty-Two

This week I tried something a little bit different and using the Midnight Edition I chose a black and white theme for my cards and embellishments.  The only items on these pages that have any colour are the photos. I'm not sure why I decided to do this, but I think I like the clean yet bold look it gives.  The little "capture" flair is from Button It on Etsy.

Here is the LHS.....

Here is the RHS.....

And here is the whole spread.....
